About the Owner

James Lutzko has been involved in the painting industry for well over a decade. In 1969 James' family moved from Melville, Sask. to Calgary, to embark on a new life. At a young age James was instilled with the value of working hard and was exposed to many facets of the building trades. As James matured, it was evident that he had natural, artistic interests and abilities and his love for painting flourished. His knowledge and comfort with the medium of paint was conducive to his choosing Commercial & Residential Painting as a trade.

Shortly after meeting his wife, eleven years ago, James launched his own company, PAINTERSEDGE inc. Over the years PAINTERSEDGE has worked diligently at providing consistent, quality workmanship for their exclusive clientele. James is attentive to the needs and interests of his clients, from the initial estimate phase and throughout the duration of the project.

As well as providing excellent painting services, James is able to offer clients more options by incorporating his artistic talent and versatility. since using exotic products, such as emperador marble or sapele, zebrano wood, leaves an impact on our environment, James can instead reproduce these beautiful effects through his faux finishing techniques. Likewise, James is very accomplished as a muralist and has produced delightful scenes to the satisfaction of his clients.

Although James devotes a tremendous amount of time towards the performance of PAINTERSEDGE, his
greatest pleasure is sharing the joy of art and life with his wife and their young daughter.
